John David and I are excited about the launch of U entertain. In so many ways this blog reflects how the two of us began writing together on the Fearless projects. We all live different lives, come from different families and have different demands pulling us different directions. The common thread is the love for beautiful things and laughter along with the knowledge that both are multiplied greatly when shared with others. How we entertain reflects our personal style and becomes our own individual gift to those we invite in. John David often says, "There is no original idea. It is how we interrupt, and then express what we have been exposed to, that makes it our own." It is our belief that by sharing with others our ideas and inspirations, along with our hosting successes and failures, that we will all grow. Where there is growth there is comfort. Where there is comfort fear and intimidation can not survive. So here we go, as always, in the tried and true "Fearless Entertaining" fashion we launch this blog by Opening our Doors! Getting started is the toughest part. The next steps are Start Small, Invite, Welcome In and Share.
We promise you that everything after that point becomes easier as you entertain more often and your comfort level expands.
